parents and students,
Thank you for another fabulously enjoyable evening of participation and food. You made the 8th Annual Ueshiba Aikido Demonstration and Potluck 2012 another meaningful and successful evening of celebration. To all students who participated in the demonstration, you did excellently well. Thank you, also, to all who helped with the distribution of the food and the setting up and taking down of the tables and chairs.
As for the food, the buffet table was a gastronomic and culinary smorgasbord of quality and variety. Thank you so much for making it all possible. Thank you to Eva for such a delicious birthday cake, to Martin Feeney for being our official photographer for the afternoon, and Mark Yager who put together a really entertaining and revealing video that provides such a lovely overview of the event; a testament of what a wonderful and giving community you are. It is such a privilege and honour to be a part of it. You all exemplify the spirit of Aiki, thank you!

The garage sale in aid of the Hombu Dojo Japan Trip Fund collected $37. Thank you for your generosity and for supporting the Japan Trip Fund. Just a reminder that we have an account with the Bottle Depot to contribute to the fund as well. So the next time you deposit your used bottles, to support the fund just say it is for "Ueshiba Aikido".
Classes will resume in July, with an amendment to the fees, from the published rates.
