Dear
parents and students,
Welcome to the start of another academic year! I hope you had a wonderful summer. It was wonderful to see so many regulars back in the Dojo again. A warm welcome to all new students and families to our Dojo!
Classes have begun smoothly with some hiccups for Saturday, for which we apologise. To help students remember the class schedules, I have created a calendar that you may want to display on the wall, or place on your refridgerator door. On it are the dates of classes, the Grading Test Weeks, the breaks and holidays. I hope that will help. Click on the link below, or copy it into the address field, for the calendar.

Information about class schedules and registration codes can be found here:

Students, please be reminded that as soon as you enter the Dojo, sit quietly or speak in a soft-indoor voice. Running around in the Dojo before or after class is not permitted. Do go to the washroom before class begins as no one is allowed to leave the mats during classes. After class, do remember to take your Progress Card, jacket and all your belongings with you as we have had numerous items left behind; from jackets, t-shirts and books to Progress Cards, bags and weapons.
Please do not take photographs during classes unless permission has been granted by Sensei, or by Mrs. Oei if class has already begun and Sensei is in the midst of facilitating the class. Your understanding in this is appreciated.
Hombu Dojo Trip
Our next proposed and intended trip to Aikikai Hombu Dojo will be from May 16 to 25, 2014. If you wish to contribute to our "Trip to Hombu Dojo Fund", be reminded that we have an account with the Bottle Depot. Just say it is for "Ueshiba Aikido" or account 388. We have $183 in the fund at the moment.
As always, do visit our website (or FaceBook pages) and check our Notices for information and updates. To
keep our database current, please inform us if you have a change
of address, new email, or new contact numbers. If you have
any questions or concerns, please feel free to contact me.
Thank you for your interest in and for practicing Aikido.
See you in the Dojo.
With
peace and harmony,
Rafael Oei Sensei.
