Dear parents and students,

Thank you for such a fabulous Autumn season of practice. I hope that each lesson enriches you as much as it enhances my learning and practice of Aikido. Every week presents something for me to reflect on. Your support, enthusiasm and interest in Aikido are overwhelming. Congratulations to all our students who have been upgraded.

Your generous Christmas gifts and well-wishes are also very appreciated. My family and I are grateful to you; we are honoured. Thank you.

All too soon, a whole year has passed and we look ahead to a new year again. Time to reflect on the year that has gone by, and to look ahead with hope and promise; learning from our experiences. The march of time is relentless as we watch our children grow, recognising that we have also come a long way on our own journey. Looking at all the students, it is amazing how much has been achieved. Many have come and gone through the doors of our dojo, and I wish each and everyone a safe and fulfilling journey. It is no accident that our paths have converged, even if it was just for a while.

Classes will begin once again from Tuesday 4 January. And for those eligible for their next grading test, the tests will be held during the week of February 22.

The Notices webpage has been updated with the dates for the upcoming class cycles beginning in January. Membership, Grading, and UAV Order Forms are now also available on that webpage. I hope you will find that convenient. I trust our online calendar is also useful to you. Here is the link once again:
